The beginning where you play as kid aloy is not indicative of the rest of the game's gameplay. ONce you get to the actual game it gets a lot more enjoyable. Power through it and you'll find a really great game. Worst case scenario you find you dont like the game and you lost at most 2 or 3 hours.
As we know, Sony decided to increase the cost of Horizon Zero Dawn from originally Rs. 1099 to Rs. 3299 on both Steam and Epic stores. However, Greenmangaming is still selling it (Steam version) at the low price of Rs. 1099 and is on 50% discount for Rs. 450 right now.
Played zero dawn a year ago. Started the souls series and got so caught up in it knew forbidden west was coming out replayed zero dawn scared it wouldnât hold up since souls combat is amazing. Zero dawn is still the greatest games Iâve ever played. Had to get the ultra hard trophy.

Oh for sure, Horizon Forbidden West is a gorgeous game. Best graphics I've seen so far in a game. The water effects are just chefs kiss, the rain drops creating ripples in the water with each drop, the waves etc, Its just phenomenal. Not to mention face and character design, it's like looking at real people.

Go for Steam. Even if you put "politics" aside, the technical benefit you get is worth the extra $3. Steam is much much more mature, and Epic still has quite a bit on their plate, both in features they've addressed, and in ones they haven't. If you don't put politics aside, definitely go for Steam. feorun5.
It depends on what your interests are. HZD is a game set in the future with primitive weapons (spear, bow, etc.). Days Gone is set in a zombie apocalypse with melee weapons and guns. In terms of story, I feel like HZD is better in that aspect compared to Days Gone. 1.
